Should I go to my friends birthday party?

My friend of about 4 months is turning 16 & having a birthday party she invited me to. It's summer and next school year she's going to be a junior. I'm 14 & I'm going to be a freshman. It's just that I would feel weird because I am definatly going to be the youngest one there & I don't wanna be the "little 8t grader" & I woun't know most of the people. But then again I will know the host of the party & two other girls who are going to be sophmores(I'm very close with these girls) & I feel like it will be a very good opertunity to meet new people that I will be going to high school with next year...What do you think?
