Please i need some help !?

right, for about 2-3 weeks ago i noticed a little lump in my grion i have done some research and i think its a swollen lymph node (but i might be wrong). it doesnt hurt and its slighty bigger than the size of a pea if not the same and its right under my skin its definatly not a spot. from what i know you need some kind of virus or something like that for these to become swollen and i havent at all i also read somewhere that if it stays for more than 2 weeks it could be serious.....can some one who knows something about this stuff give me any info please!!!! thanks :)
