Near the end of my period and i really want to swim?

Ok so my period has been going on for 7 days and its definatly about to end its not as bad its really light but still there and i really want to go swimming at my country club pool today with my friends but im scared ill bleed in the pool. Im not really using tampons yet im scared cause i tried once and it was terrible pain to pull it out... So what should i do? I have black bottoms, do you bleed in water? Cause when i take a bath i dont bleed in there, what should i do?!?!????!?�
